James married Sarah Jane Oaks on 8 Jun 1876
June 8th 1876 at the Parish Church, Chapel-en-le-Frith after Banns - James Bramwell - 26 - Bachelor - Slater - CELF - Joseph Bramwell - Slater - Sarah Jane Oakes - 30 - Widow - CELF - Aaron Stone - Labourer. Both signed. Aaron Stone & Mary Hannah Bramwell were witnesses. (Her father's name could be Stone, Store or Storey)

They had two children that I know of:
Arthur Bramwell baptised 20 May 1877 at CELF
Mary Ann Bramwell baptised 19 Oct 1879 at CELF

Arthur married Amy Nadin & they had two children, Winnie Bramwell who married Steven Buckingham & Ada Bramwell who married Fred Hartle Hitchens

Sadly Sarah Jane died in the Dec Qtr 1899 aged 55
